Orb’s are those little circular spots that appear in photos generally at night or in an old buildings.
Orb’s are normally light reflected off dust, moisture, pollen, bugs etc in the air from the flash on your camera. Orb’s can also be caused through a Lens Flare which is caused by reflections in the camera lens by a bright object such as the sun.

Orb’s can be created by shaking an old dusty blanket in the air and the quickly taking a photo.
There are many interesting theories about Orb’s one being that an orb is the energy of a spirit manifesting in a physical form.

We at APIU don’t generally count Orb’s as proof of the Paranormal because of the environmental factors that contribute to making orbs. However sometimes certain orbs take our interest for instance if they appear in the exact same spot on different occasions, Orb appears to be moving or if an orb occurs in conjunction with Temp and EMF spikes etc.

If you do get an orb in a picture our advice would be to try and investigate possible causes for the orb and if you still believe that it may be paranormal activity please don’t hesitate to contact us or send us the pic and we will investigate.
