APIU uses a range of different equipment to try and capture/communicate with the paranormal. Depending on how seriously you want to take the investigation the cost of equipment could be fairly affordable to expensive and really depends on your budget.
For a Basic Investigation APIU suggests that you have a camera, voice recorder, torches, pad and pen.
For a more thorough Investigation it is a good idea to have a few cameras & video cameras, voice recorders, Electro Magnetic Field Metres (EMF), Motion Detectors, torches, lap top and an investigation plan. This was you are able use a variety of equipment in an attempt to communicate or capture the paranormal.
If money is no obstacle you could purchase a Thermal Imaging Camera, Full Spectrum Camera, DVR Surveillance System, and Night Vision Cameras. Whilst this level of equipment is not necessary required they do add a lot more depth to your investigation.
At present APIU have 3 Video Camera, 3 Digital Camera, Voice Recorder, Motion Detectors, Electro Magnetic Field Metre, Laptop and a few other accessories. APIU plan to invest in a DVR System and additional Voice recorders and EMF’s within the next few months as our group expands.
