    • OP: I might be slow (lord knows I have been told lol) but that made absolutely no sense what so ever…

    • I am not going to be original this time, so all I am going to say that your blog rocks, sad that I don’t have suck a writing skills

    • j:

My mother spent most of her life in the rdh. I have been in many of the wards from the age of 3 months to 16 when i visited her regularly. One time i was allowed past the visiting room and inot the actual ward – the one with the big walls. (She passed away a few years ago – thank god – becasue she was one of the worst cases). Please make sure that you always respect that place – people still live today that know people who are still alive or who were there. Not into the art work on the walls or the vandalism but into people going there to respect it for what it was and is today. Thanks for the videos

    • Hi J

Thanks for sharing, I grew up in New Norfolk and work in the industry that now supports many of the patients that once called RDH and WCC home. APIU have a passion for the site and treat it with the upmost respect at all times. To show our gratitude we have volunteered our time to be part of the DVC Willow Court Committee to try and contribute back to the site that has given us so much.
      Thanks for the comment!

    • Sorry, but I can’t agree with you. I do not like that approach. But it’s a beneficial begin. Might be with some more information’s I can manage to know it greater?

    • Thank you to achieve sharing that. I was hunting to get getting that info several days ago. So definitely nice to get it the following.

    • aiden:

Sorry Mack piccione, But what can’t you agree with?
You don’t have to like our approach, We do thing’s our own way and don’t confirm to other peoples beliefs.
These are “Ghost stories” and the only one’s we take down as a possible paranormal experience is the one’s captured or witnessed by A.P.I.U investigators.

    • Very nice article.. Thanks for sharing..

    • Because of reading your blog, I decided to start my own. I had never been interested in keeping a blog until I saw how helpful yours was, then I was inspired!

    • I enjoy visiting daily to see your writings. I have your page bookmarked on my favorite read list!

I find the above very interesting. l have been staying in the Admin buliding of Willow Court for a couple of days now and my friend’s have lived here for a while and we have seen or heard nothing…I spoke to an old nurse who worked here for 20 years and she said the same.

    • rosharris:

I am presently staying in the Admin buliding at Willow Court there is nothing strange here at all….

      • Hi Ros

Excellent how is the building coming along, I would love to check it out again sometime soon.
We have never witnessed anything paranormal in the Admin either however a few people have reported observing strange things happening in there. Have you seen this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSvwKF9NoV8

We need to take into account some people are more sensitive to the paranormal than others, whilst we may have never seen or heard anything many others claim they have.
May be the spirits have settled since the building is in safe ownership and not being constantly vandalised and burnt.

We don’t believe that the admin building is haunted either, however we think that any paranormal activity that occurs near or in the admin bulding may be attributed to its close proximity to the Barracks precinct.

      Hi Nick

i went through the A,B and C Wards today as well as the barack buliding which was fantasic and took lots of photos. It is a really sad what the vandals have done to the buildings themselves. l am very sensitive to all elements and found nothing in any of them but A bulding which was caused by a very hyperactive possium (spelling is bad). The buildings are beautiful especially the criminal ward the excerise yard which the large stone wall was brillant…the doors that l saw were about 10cm thick to each room/cell!!! After visiting there l am so taken with the place l am in the middle of my PHD proposal on mental illness l wish to include this in my thesis.

This is my question to you – if l was to conduct an overview of all elements such as personal experiences of previous staff members, the general functionality of the hospital, history of certain events that are unexplainable and an experiment that would be conducted by yourself (Paranormal Investigation Unit) would you be ok if l recorded all of the facts found from your research??? This experiment would have to be approved my the council.

Anyway let me know your thoughts…in regards to the Admin buliding it is coming along very well… If you wish to meet the owner let me know and l will talk to him… but he does not believe in ghosts….

    • Hi Ros

Lucky you getting into A, B & C its not easy getting DVC approval to get inside there. Did someone from the Council escort you?

Firstly Ros I’m just curious as to what you do with yourself are you a reseacher or historian, did you used to work there?

Secondly I was wondering why you are so keen to try and debunk some of the paranormal stories that has occured in WCC?

If we agree with the project what would you do with the results etc?

I’m on the DVC Willow Court Committee so I could raise it at one of our meetings, if we agree to go ahead.

You need to be aware that most of these stroies have come from the general public and I do not have names etc and have no evidence to back them up so talking to ex-staff probably won’t help explain these particular stories either way.

APIU are not stating that all these paranormal stroies are true and accurate, but I simply wanted to gather and record all these stories in one central location, for interested people to read.

I think we may need to speak more privatly, so would you like to email me at nicholaas.jarvis@gmail.com

      Cheers

      Nick

    • Oh and one other things Ros, we have met Mario and he informed us of his theory/belief in all things ghost/spirits and the afterlife.

    • rosharris:

      Hi Nick

I apologise if l have offended – l will email you personality from now on..

      Ros

      • Hi Ros

No you have not offended, I’m just interested to know a bit more about yourself and what you do etc. I think if we are to answer these questions its probably better to do it privately.
Look forward to hearing from you.

        Nick

    • Thanks I really needed this.

Top work Nick, just got told of your website, and I’m hooked, its a fascinating world we live in, and spirits or ghosts are but one source of intrigue. I really enjoyed reading your investigations into willow court and look forward to further research your unit gets into. This is excellent stuff. Well done.

    • Trevor Crowther:

HI. I worked on Ward 5 as a Registered Nurse during the actual hauntings.Prior to these events I did not believe in Ghosts Ward 5 allowed me to see my first image now I am a firm believer. One incident when I saw a staff member at 3am in the morning on the floor holding onto his throat and shouting out (get it out of me Get it out of me) with a look of terror on his face the voice was not his voice but a voice which had a tone that I had never heard his legs were convulsing I dragged him by his shirt collar outside into the cold air and thats when our emergency services arrived i cannot go into Medical details but the hair on the back of my neck stood on end and i firmly believe and will swear to it that there was something inside the man.Regards TREV

      • Hi Trevor

Wow thanks for sharing that piece of Information I really appreciate it. That really sounds terrifying, even though I’m a paranormal investigator and been in Ward 5 plenty of times (since closure) that account sends chills down my spine. Would I be able to quote you and the account in Willow Court Ghost story section? Do you have any more information about the Ghost in Ward 5? Do you remember the story being on the news? I remember seeing it as a kid, I’m trying to track down the footage.
If you would like to chat more privately please contact me at nicholaas.jarvis@gmail.com

        Regards

        Nick
