    April cap 2010

    April 29th, 2010

On April the 10th Aiden, Alison, Chris and Glenn investigated Franklin house in the north of the state. (For full details of the investigation please see the round up sheet)

Most of this month’s focus has been on the Willow court committee and the assembly of it. The 3 founder’s of A.P.I.U attended each of the meetings and also attended the council’s monthly meeting to make sure our voice was heard and the right decision was made.

On the 26th of April all 3 A.P.I.U founders were chosen to be a part of the council run committee and will ensure the future of Willow court is a good one.

Our first project for the committee will be putting forward the idea of a full history documentary about the willow court and royal derwent hospital site. We will be seeking full council support and access to every building on the site.

With Glenn and Aiden both moving out this month into their own homes A.P.I.U now has a evidence review room and also a meeting room for those monthly meetings.

The review room has several computer monitors set up for the reviewing of evidence and also has a computer set-up for EVP editing and video editing.

    Onto investigation news,

Aiden is in talks with the operators of Runnymede house about the upcoming investigation which is being set up, Dates to be confirmed.

    Franklin house investigation

    April 14th, 2010

    Investigation Report

The night started at 10am on a cold rainy Saturday, And all investigators (Aiden, Glenn, Alison and Chris) were eager to start the nights investigation.

We promptly set up our base in the staff kitchen area then headed towards the main homestead to begin the first of many vigils. We decided to take place on the 2nd level living area, we set up the camera angles for the room to make sure if anything happens we would have caught it. Aiden and Glenn in the center of the room around a dining table, Alison and Chris took place at the sitting end of the room. We started off with a lengthy evp session trying to provoke previous owners and any spirits that might be lurking around, After Aiden’s long attempt of trying to make contact Alison decided to try and make contact with the little boy that tragically lost his life on the stairwell of the house/boarding home. After a couple of questions Alison felt a numbness on her arm and shoulder.

We wrapped up that vigil but decided to keep the camera’s set up to see if anything would show there self after we had left the building.

    (footage still being analyzed)

After a short break we collected our camera’s and split into two groups (Glenn and Chris taking the drawing room) and (Aiden and Alison taking the card’s room)

Both groups sat in silence, Trying to hear any movement in the still house, But there was not even a whisper so we decided to begin evp session 2.

With Aiden being the main speaker again.

Nothing was caught by the ear, but the voice recorder is still being analyzed.

So we took some still photo’s and Glenn and Chris caught a weird light object on a wall, This was quickly debunked by Aiden which seen a shiny vanished table which was reflecting the flash onto the wall.

The time was now 2.30am and the group took a well deserved break.

After quite a lot of discussion about if Franklin house is really haunted or natural explanations were to blame we decided to come up with a new concept. One of which none of us have ever heard of a team attempting.

A remote evp session using two walkie talkies, 1 voice recorder and 2 video cameras.

1 walkie talkie was set up in the main bedroom with a voice recorder and a video camera, and the 2nd walkie talkie was with us in the base with us, We also had a video camera pointed at us to show people that everyone was accounted for at the time and no one was in the house.

We begun the remote evp session which seemed to work a treat.

    (being reviewed)

We let the gear run for the rest of the night hoping to catch any activity.

    2010 March cap

    March 24th, 2010

After a slow start to march A.P.I.U added another new member to the team, Shane.

Being one of Nicks friends with a very healthy interest in the paranormal and his willingness to follow and observe he fits into the team perfectly.

Friday the 12th – A.p.i.u continue their investigation of Haydn’s Willow court buildings. For this investigation we had a full team including new members Chris and Shane were this was their first crack at investigating with the team. The night started at 8.30 the sky was clear and there was not a breath of wind in the air.

    The nights team’s were

team 1 Aiden – Alison starting out in the nurses cottage

team 2 Nick – Shane in j ward

team 3 Glenn – Chris in lyrepenny

team 1 – Aiden and Alison jumped straight into a evp session on the 2nd floor, This effort was hampered by a sprinkler outside the ward so they stopped the evp session and walked over to J ward.

Team 2- Shane and Nick started the night by taking some photos of j ward, Team 1 later met them in j ward where they would undertake a big evp session with plenty of activity caught on Aiden’s camera including a slow moving orb that travelled from one door to another, Orb’s and flashes of light.

Team 3- Glenn and Chris did a walk around of Lyrepenny where they decided they would start up a evp session on the top floor, Glenn called upon the matron which has spark activity in previous investigations.

Tonight was no different, Glenn and Chris claimed that there was 6 loud tapping noises which was confirmed on Glenn’s camera.

    No natural explanation was found.

After the first set of vigils the team’s met back up, After going through each other’s experiences we decided to split off into two groups again.

Glenn and Chris decided to go back to lyrepenny as they were amazed by the activity.

Nick, Shane, Alison and Aiden ventured off to F ward – There attempt was unsuccessful as the ward was closed off.

Chris and Glenn also came back empty handed.

After a short meeting and break we stuck to the same 2 teams, Glenn and Chris went back to Lyrepenny once again, and the others went to the 2nd level of the nurses cottage.

On the second floor of the nurses cottage Nick and Aiden Started a evp session and a temp gun game, Nick would ask a question and wait for a response and Aiden would ask a spirit to see if they could change the temperature.

    Nicks attempt was unsuccessful.

But Aiden’s temp game was a big success. 13.5 to 18.0 in Millie seconds.

Glenn and Chris came back to the group claiming activity has stopped in Lyrepenny.

    The Lone Vigils

The lone vigils were done in Lyrepenny as it was proven to become active when there was only one person in the ward.

Nick was the first investigator to set off for he’s vigil – He claimed that there was no activity.

Aiden was the next investigator to do a vigil, (Aiden has been known to stir up the matron and make her “upset”) – Aiden came back claiming he heard footsteps behind him on the second level, a breeze on his neck and a big temperature drop.

Glenn was up next – He claimed no activity.

Chris the newbie shocked the Co-founders by raising his had to do a lone vigil – He claimed a temperature change on the 2nd level.

Alison also stepped up to the plate by doing alone vigil – Alison done a walkthrough of the ground floor and was un able to reach the 2nd.

To end the month A.p.i.u have a private house investigation in Brighton, The house dates back to the 1830s and the owner has noticed alot of activity since doing some reno’s. activity consists of full body though to voices. full team will be on this investigation.
